Senator Robert E. Clegg, Jr.
District 14

Sen. Robert E. Clegg Jr. was elected to the New Hampshire Senate in November 2002. He serves as majority leader in the Senate and is a former member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, where he served for four terms. Clegg was named "2000 Legislator of the Year" by the National Republican Legislators Association.

Clegg serves as chairman of the Capital Budget Committee and is a member of the Interstate Cooperation, the Judiciary, and the Rules and Enrolled Bills committees.

Clegg has been active in the local community contributing his time and talents to various organizations and causes, and has served in many civic capacities, including as a town councilor in Hudson, as a member of Hudson's Budget Committee, as a member of the town's Building Board of Appeals, as a member of the local chamber of commerce, as a member of the local Charter Study Committee, and as a member of the Masons.

Clegg is the owner of Property/Construction Management. He and his wife, Priscilla, reside in Hudson and have two children.
