Senator Robert Boyce
District 4

Sen. Robert Boyce, a Republican, was elected to the New Hampshire Senate in November 2000. He currently serves as chairman of the Internal Affairs Committee, vice chairman of both the Finance, and the Public Institutions, Health and Human Services committees, and is a member of both the Ways and Means, and the Capital Budget committees. 

Before being elected to the Senate, Boyce served two terms in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, where he was a member of the Finance Committee.

Boyce was born in Nebraska and graduated from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colo., with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics.

Prior to serving in the Senate, Boyce taught at the New Hampshire Community Technical College in Laconia. He also held the positions of computer consultant; quality control manager at McCreary Tire; and car salesman.

Boyce currently serves on the board of directors of the New Hampshire Brain Injury Association.

He is married to state Rep. Laurie Boyce, who is serving her second term in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. The Boyces live in Alton and have two grandsons.
